RKC: Runic Knights Challengers -- finding and defeating challenges at level-cap, in a relaxed, casual atmosphere.

Anyone is welcome that chooses to show up, and if real life interferes we understand. There are no minimum gear or experience requirements, but please be respectful of others' time.

If you are new to grouping in LOTRO, consider working on getting some experience and/or gear in the slightly easier runs before jumping into a raid or T2 run. There are plenty of people that can answer gearing or class questions if you have them, just ask. We also have a gear guide here if you don't know where to start and want a break-down of the current end-game gear.*

Discord is helpful but not required.

Our primary goal is to do kin runs of end-game content. For now, this means Pelennor Instances and some Osgiliath Instances.* These will be scheduled a few days in advance and posted on the events calendar. (Instances will be pre-planned but changes may be made based on number of attendees and realistic ability. For example, if many people new to grouping wish to come on a T2 night, we may run a T1, explain the mechanics we would have in T2, but still have a reasonable shot at completing the run and getting the new players gear/experience.) We may also schedule other runs as the interest for them arises.

So check out the events calendar regularly for runs and see you in-game!

Edit: 10/10/17
*The gist of this post is true, but we're moving on to the new end game (currently lvl 115 Mordor instances) and will continue to scale, so some of this is outdated. See the RKC tab for current info!

Side note: Anyone who would like to help organize runs can do so! Every kin member can post events to the site.

I spoke with Cel about this on Sunday, May 21. I am up for helping out with this effort. Both the time of day and the overall idea work well for me.

I'll check in with you when I can. Thanks for starting this up.

I'm definitely down for running these. I need to get my champ geared up, but also just want to finish some of these deeds as well.

Ryleth & Joel:

That is great to hear! We're still working out the best medium to discuss organizing these runs, but we've looped you into our current discussions.

I look forward to working with everyone!
