Some Kind Of Trouble (SKOT) is a regularly occurring kin event that happens every week at:

Sunday 9pm (server time)

It is an all kin raid for folks that want to run multi-player content for fun. It is all about having fun. There are no gear requirements or anything else (other than maybe level depending on what is being run). It is a great way to learn about running multi-player content.

So, if you've never done a raid and would like to see what it is about, come along. We'd love to have you. You can't do anything wrong. This is about having fun and learning. Just show up at the scheduled time and watch kin chat for the group forming.

Easily done, Abarian -- Sanforyd runs them and usually starts inviting people for RT (roving threats) about 8:45pm servertime/eastern on Sundays. They do the Roving Threats for one or two regions, then they run some skraids. All you need to do to participate is be logged in and speak up or send him a tell when he's asking for who's interested!

As a heads-up to you or anyone else reading this, we do currently have TWO activities going on Sunday evenings. The RKC run typically starts invites (usually Celordal or Bitz is doing the inviting) at about 8:15pm, so if you're planning to go to either event you sometimes need to specify which you're volunteering for rather than just "x-ing" in kinchat! :-D

Why RTs and skirmish raids?

The RTs drop 1 or more Gift-giver's Brands which can be used to barter for First Age Weapons, for example , and Anfalas Scrolls of Empowerment .

The skirmish raids drop Marks and Medallions which can buy lots of stuff at the skirmish vendors, including Anfalas Scrolls of Empowerment and Titles for legendary weapons.

We have started just doing the 5 RTs in The Wastes as they are pretty quick. HOWEVER, if you need RTs in other areas, for example, to complete deeds or such, PLEASE let Sanforyd or me know so we can schedule doing that RTs zone(s) to help you out.

Both RTs and skirmishes also help complete deeds. We have started doing a couple of Scourges in Mordor each week to complete the scourges deeds.

In addition, if you need a particular fellowship instance/skirmish to finish or work on a quest line, especially if you need it to get a class trait point, please let Sanforyd or me know so we can schedule it for an upcoming SKoT that you can attend.

Happy Trails, Nenro
